SUV Flips on Curve
MidTown - January 26, 2003 --- An SUV failed to negotiate a curve on Route 5 around 9:30am this morning and flipped over into the ditch. A female driver was hanging upside down, strapped in by her seatbelt when first crews arrived.

She was transported to the hospital by Rural/Metro Paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
Evans Center Engine 1 and Rescue 7 responded along with Chief Dennis Allen and Assistant Chiefs Tim Szczepaniak and Ken Hontz.
Later in the afternoon, Evans Center responded to a reported vehicle accident on Rte. 5 near New Era Cap Co. - just a quarter mile from this accident scene. The victim and vehicles had left the scene prior to their arrival.
